Negativ oplevelse: Takes forever to get your deposit back.

Negativ oplevelse: As much as I appreciate the teaching so far, the organisation is simply not acceptable. 1) I enrolled in a hybrid class, turns out (halfway through the course) that it has become a full presence course 2) I send emails and call for info, no reply to the emails and the person who answers the call hangs up on the call giving no acceptable justification 3) students are told class is cancelled on the very same day it happens 4) I had to wait 3 months between enrolment and the start of the course due to "an error in the system" 5) information about the deposit reimbursement is not accessible and everytime I ask I receive a different answer. I'm sure closing up the school is a tough process, but this repeated lack of organisation is unacceptable.

Negativ oplevelse: They organized an online evaluation with my wife, which they then didn't show up for. Go for UCPlus or Studieskolen instead.

Negativ oplevelse: Badly organized, teachers had bad handwritting and did not speak in english much, an absolute joke, towards the end they were not willing to refund, they do not have a complaining form which brings me to this, leaving my first ever google review. As they won't provide with books rather booklets, so after two months of pointless classes your physical endurance spikes up from carrying a backpack that is at least 10 kilos worth of paper. per week there is at least 2 booklets of 20 pages each for 30 students...

Negativ oplevelse: I dropped this school because they decided out of the blue and just 1 month before my exams that our group should be dismissed and I was put in another group with totally different level. When I try to contact the school describing the situation, they didn't care and said that "this is a normal situation that everybody has a different knowledge". For me it was pointless to attend a class where a teacher speaks on Danish all the time and I simply do not understand 90% of what happens.

Positiv oplevelse: I am a student here and I think overall its a nice place and good teachers except some. My advice will be if you want to learn a language (ex. Danish here), never learn that from a native speaking teacher.

Negativ oplevelse: Extremely bad service and administration

Negativ oplevelse: Really good teachers, but such a bad administration, nobody knows anything at the reception, they don't help at all. Really, you should do something about it.

Fantastisk oplevelse: I will be taking my Danish lessons here. I went in to do my assessment interview and the teacher was very professional. Also loved that the school is very near the metro.

Negativ oplevelse: If you are new to Denmark and want to really learn danish, please don’t go here. They will try their best to keep you in the school even though their system is not even close to be in place. They don’t even know if you have attended or not. What the poor teachers keep track off is totally different than what the administration does. And if the teacher doesn’t like you because for no reason, you are basically stuck. Oh and did I forget to mention you won’t learn proper danish! Please go to Studioskolen and don’t waste your time I have been for a year with them and all the information I have is from my previous school. Just an honest opinion. This is education, and affects our residency. I personally missed my A2 exam because my teacher said I wasn’t ready and should wait until I finish level 3.. even though I didn’t listen to her and applied to A2 and passed it. It was already late for it to be considered in the immegration system. And no teacher will admit they were the reason you didn’t apply. I give them two stars because you get to access the material online and to meet with a person to talk and practice danish with. This was positive experience. Oh did I mention that they will put you in a class that already started and make you jump between classes if they think you were too good or the teacher doesn’t like you sorry Clavis, I have tried to give my feedback to you personnel in person but nothing really changed and you are really not supporting us to finalize our education faster.

Negativ oplevelse: The worst service ever. I have been studding in Clavis for 9 months, because my kommune send me there. I paid myself 2000 dkk pur module. But I got a very bad service back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLAVIS SCHOOL

Negativ oplevelse: The worst experience I have ever had. I made the mistake of trusting that this institution had my best interest at heart and listened to their advice. Even when they knew I have no language experience at all. They pushed me into a fast track course. "It will be easy" they said. I failed that obviously. Then I got enrolled in a class which it turns out you need a second language for already. That moved fast enough that I dropped out again. When emailed by the school I explained my position. That they do not have my best interests at heart and asked to be removed from that class. Today I shown up for a new class I had been enrolled in. This time they put me in a module 2 class. Which the lecturer kindly pointed out Infront of everyone that I had failed module one, then pretended me leaving the class that I am obviously not qualified to be in was my decision. I genuinely think the reason I am not motivated to learn danish is the last 12 months of attending this school. It has made me hate going to danish class. Think twice before you waste your vouchers or money attending this school. The welfare of the student does not matter to this institution.

Positiv oplevelse: I can say I am satisfied overall whether it be in a physical class or online class. I have had not so great experiences though with some teachers about their teaching methods during my physical classes but with my online class, I would say that it's been a wonderful experience. I had fun and I learned so much. I feel like I am being recognized more. It's not crowded, so we are given individual opportunities to speak and participate where in my physical classes, I wasn't given much of that opportunity. I particularly recommend Ervin's online classes. It's super fun to learn a new language, so enjoy everyone!

Negativ oplevelse: 2 weeks ago i gave this school 5 starts. today I changed to 1 star. Why? After passing module 1 and having great experience in a small class up to 15 people, module 2 started with a whooping 25 people and we don't get the benefits of learning any more. DO I need to pay 2000 dkk to get printouts where there is explanation of grammar and wordlist? I think I will put my money elsewhere in module 3. 25 people is no way to learn. And worst of all no one told us of those changes. Just pay pay pay. No one asked if we WANT to be in such large class.

Fantastisk oplevelse: Very happy with Clavis. I finished my Pd3 here and all the teachers were really good and encouraging. While doing modul 5, i got a teacher naming “Jinan Rashid Mukden” . She is the best teacher I have ever got in my life. The way she teaches is really awesome. I used to do full time work and attend classes after work but I never felt tired in classes and the reason was her way of teaching. The only negative thing about Clavis I found was they don’t have classes in the morning before 9 Am. So it was very difficult to manage time because I work from 11 Am to 7 Pm. But as people say “Everything happens for a good reason”. Likewise I would have missed the best teacher if I took morning classes. Lots of love to Clavis and Jinan ❤️ ❤️ U deserve more than 5 stars ✨

Fantastisk oplevelse: Flexible online learning, which allows me to study danish alongside full-time employment and a normal life. I studied modules 1 & 2 elsewhere, and module 3 here, I can say without doubt I prefer CLAVIS. Ervin Mariager, in particular, is a wonderfully engaging teacher, and makes full-use of modern technology to teach remotely in a fun and effective way :) I'll be coming back for more!!!

Fantastisk oplevelse: I have been studying there for 5 months now and my experience is positive overall. All three teachers that I have met there are great - efficient, enthusiastic and attentive to the needs of the students. The atmosphere in the classes is very relaxed and friendly and makes learning Danish a pleasurable activity :-)

Fantastisk oplevelse: I am studying there for 4 months and I'm very satisfied. The teachers are patient and try to keep a friendly atmosphere, and the amount of homework is appropriate (not too much to be overwhelmed). Whenever we gave feedback we always felt that it was taken into account. I definitely recommend it!

Negativ oplevelse: Bad communication and wasted my time waiting to start the Danish class while they were saying I’ll be informed when they have a place for me. I was informed by sms that I need to wait and when I’ll called back I was told a morning class already started and I missed it because I haven’t paid . I would totally paid if I knew I can start the class but they were so unprofessional discussing this.

Negativ oplevelse: I was student at Clavis sprogskole last year. It was the worst experience I have had since I started learning Danish in Denmark. The teacher was terrible. she was absent for 6 sessions without any makeup sessions. We didn't learn much at the class and the teacher had no plans for teaching and when we complained about the problems to the manager of the school, he only shouted and behaved irresponsibly. There was a complete chaos. Besides one of the male personnel at the reception had a very bad behaviour. I hope that other students at Clavis would have a better experience .

Positiv oplevelse: I have been a student at Clavis for DU3 Mod4 and Mod5. Apparently, administration-wise there are many areas to be improved. They are trying to keep things within the budget, as the KBHkommune has significantly reduced its payment for danish language learners, so things may not be as smooth as desired at all times. Just keep your expectations at a reasonable level when you deal with the admin. Of course, if you are willing to pay an hefty amount of money to a private language school, then you have lots of other alternatives and better customer service offerings. Otherwise, Clavis is the best alternative. Personally, I also had some discontent related to instructor's qualifications during a transition period, but in overall, I am a happy customer. My special thanks go to Pia (mod 5 instructor) for her patience, positive energy and professionalism.

Negativ oplevelse: The administration of the school is terrible. They've made lots of mistakes, for example, enrolling me into the wrong module, saying I didn't pay my fee when I actually did, etc. It's a real shame that this is the school sponsored by the municipality. One good thing is that there are some good teachers there.

Negativ oplevelse: I singed up for Danish class a month ago. I was supposed to start tomorrow morning, so I went today to double check my schedule and surprise! They didn't even put me in a class. The only excuse they gave me was" Oh we really sorry". This is totally unprofessional. I had to modify my entire routine to manage to have Tuesday and Thursday off so I can come to class, like they advice me to, I lost 2 days of the week of work and of course, money, to study and now I am without class and without working hours. I would highly recommend you all, to go somewhere else, because if this is the way they deal with things, I don¿t even want to think about the rest of the services they provide. I am extremely disappointed and sad, I wanted to start studying so bad, and they just ruin my month.

Fantastisk oplevelse: A great language school with excellent teachers and teaching methods. Staff are always very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Negativ oplevelse: There area some good teachers, but generally poorly organized and poor communication with the students. Choose another school.
