Negativ oplevelse: Jeg har været elev både på private kurser og på kurser finansieret af regeringen. Selvom nogle af lærerne var gode, er skolesystemet forfærdeligt. Når du støder på et problem, er det maksimale, de vil gøre, at give dig en e-mail. Der findes desværre ingen leder, du kan tale med personligt, da skolen ser eleverne som tal og ikke som mennesker. En af de værste skoleoplevelser, jeg nogensinde har haft i mit liv. Hvis du er i tvivl om, hvilken skole du skal tilmelde dig, anbefaler jeg, at du finder en anden. Jeg kan anbefale VSK Skole, da de har en mere humaniseret undervisning, adgang til ledere og fagfolk, som virkelig bekymrer sig om elevernes udvikling og læringsforløb.

Negativ oplevelse: Stay away from this school if you want to learn Danish. I have experienced rude service, teachers that don’t even know how to teach and absolute disrespect towards students. You have to be very lucky to get a good teacher. I will not recommend this school and I would never start my classes again here.

Negativ oplevelse: My experience reflects many of the systemic problems currently discussed regarding Danish state-funded language education. Frequent teacher changes, inconsistent methods, questionable group placement, and poor alignment between teaching and exam requirements made effective learning extremely difficult. What was most disappointing, however, was how a detailed, good-faith complaint was handled. The response showed no empathy, no reflection, and no sense of institutional responsibility — focusing almost entirely on administrative rules rather than addressing educational quality. In this light, the school’s low Google rating is not surprising. Before enrolling, I strongly recommend that prospective students take the time to search for and read about the broader problems of Danish language education, as many of the issues discussed publicly are clearly reflected here.

Negativ oplevelse: One and only worst experiences I had with an educational institution, been waiting for more then 2 months for a class to start and the class been canceled, fine things that can happen but when I contacted the reception first thing they told me is you can find another school even I have been waiting for more then 2 months, I went in person at studieskolen to see if I can talk to anybody in charge and they were not available still fine then I receive an email with the same aproach and attitude that I can find another school. I have said it on the email also I’m gone stated here that if you want students to go to another school please do not let them pay the deposit and wait for more then 2 months and get this answer.

Positiv oplevelse: I would hesitate to recommend studieskolen due to the size if the classes. I mentioned last year about being in a class of 24. They split the class but then we ended up in a class with 29 students! The teacher is fantastic but there is only so much one teacher can do. Before the admin questions this review, like they did last time, please check the size of the Trin 2, dansk class, Monday and Wedenesday evenings. Updated this review as the teachers are excelent and admin appear to be actively trying to reduce the class sizes.

Negativ oplevelse: Had module 1 here. Teachers were not helpful, everything was disorganised. Long duration of the classes, with almost an hour-long break — pointless. Long time to even start first class.

Fantastisk oplevelse: I joined a 3-week summer class. I want to thank Andreas and the other teacher. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she was a very kind and professional teacher. It was my best experience in the language schools. They were very welcoming and encouraged us to make a presentation.

Positiv oplevelse: Well organized school, opportunities to learn danish in an effective way

Negativ oplevelse: Worst experience in Denmark so far, by far. I've booked for A1 part 1&2 lessons in October 2024. Less than a week before the course starts, i learn that my mom has liver cancer, so I ask them : Would it be possible to postpone the course since I have to go back home in Switzerland to support my family both physically and morally? Their short answer was "no", the longer one was "you can borrow books from our school, and download pdf sheets if you like". 4695kr, right in the rain gutter. I never felt so powerless in my entire life, and yet, thanks to Studieskolen, I was able to dig deeper than I ever imagined possible. I'm now back in Copenhagen and want to share this in the hope that others will understand what kind of place this is. Profitable, certainly, but utterly indifferent to the individuals (akin you) passing through its system. Antoine (wasn't able to post with my own account god knows why)

Negativ oplevelse: Kære forurettede person Jeg ved udmærket, hvordan man består en eksamen med mine 11 års undervisningserfaring. De dobbeltstandardiserede eksamener i dit kursus er aldrig realistiske. For ikke at tale om de mennesker, du bevidst lader dumpe til eksamen. Jeg har været vidne til, at folk, der aldrig burde have bestået eksamen, har klaret sig. Hvad angår hjælp, ja, du har brug for seriøs hjælp.

Negativ oplevelse: AVOID STUDIESKOLEN AT ALL COST!!! THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL EVER EXISTED IN THE HISTORY OF DENMARK!!! They are so incompetent on answering a complaint. They are so biased with the exams and they can't justify why students get unfair grades. This is the most HORRIBLE language school ever!!!

Fantastisk oplevelse: I have been studying at Studieskolen since 4 months and it’s been an excellent experience. Danish is a difficult foreign language and I am very glad for the support of my teacher and my classmates. I look forward to continuing.

Negativ oplevelse: It was the worst experience ever. I started studying danish in this place, and my teacher Susann Mirshiir made me literally drop the studying, the last class I assisted she didn't put me in the list and told me that if I don't remove myself she will do it, all because I was late a couple of times, and I wasn't the only affected person, in the class, at the beginning, it was around 25 students and after 8 weeks we was only around 15, many students drop it because of her altered and highly unpleasant attitude, it seemed that she was always angry and making horrible comments, especially to the students with the most learning problems, I felt more than uncomfortable on more than one occasion because of the way she addressed to my classmates

Negativ oplevelse: You can report me before that I'm not eligible for some of courses I had selected, not after all seats in efterårskolen are taken. Some teachers really put effort on education but organization is terrible. For most of time I got message that lesson is cancelled 5 minutes before lesson time. It really annoys when you woke up and prepare for something and in last second, BUM: "we cancelled your lesson" or "You're not at DU3". Stop that. Edit: This has to be a joke, they cancelled my lesson again because I’m DU2 module 2 and lesson is DU2 Module 3.

Negativ oplevelse: I didn't like that you can't get any review for the exams you fail. It's kept as a secret, which isn't fair after spending so much time not knowing what you did wrong and fixing it for next time. No guarantee that the results are even yours.

Negativ oplevelse: Everything was fine until the last exam. I’m upset with mundtlig test result. I could see among my classmates they got better results although I thought I wasn’t worse. I didn’t get any feedback for my first mundtlig part and in the second part, the sensor said that my wording was not broad enough and I repeated my points. I didn’t get clear questions. I was prepared for 12 but they gave me the second worst grade and I got so demotivated after being part of all the classes and having done all the exercises.

Fantastisk oplevelse: I attended the intensive summer course last year and I must say I was impressed with the school. The teacher was incredibly nice and really helped us with the pronunciation. I'll absolutely be back if I'll be able to come to Denmark again!

Negativ oplevelse: - poor communication with the school, often waiting weeks for an answer - the quality of the lessons varied a lot between different teachers. I had one very good teacher, a couple of mediocre ones and one who was 0% motivated to teach, didn't really listen to what the students were saying and didn't make any effort to answer a question about grammar (no one can know everything but a language teacher should be able to find ressources and at least try to find an explanation. they could look it up before the next lesson at least) However, I liked the strict Danish-only method - after not having been able to come to one exam, the school refused to let me take a re-exam and did not let me take the entrance exam for module 6 which I would be qualified for which left me confused but I can just go to one of the other language schools in the city and hope that they are better

Positiv oplevelse: I had to change few times to find a good teacher. And Irina is the best teacher in this school i have . I recommend to look for her class to register and study.she’s from Rusia . Very enthusiastic and explain things in English if u dun understand. The other Danish teachers seem like not so good at English. So they only teach and explain in Danish which causes lots of stress for students and everyone get bored with class bcoz they dun understand the lesson

Negativ oplevelse: Worst experience ever. I had to change several teacher to find real teacher but non of them are good at their job. They are not like teacher they are more like having personal problems with you and instead of focusing to teaching trying pull you in a argument. When you asked a question their making you feel like stupid. All of my classmates wanted to change teacher after they have seen better teacher in the summer class and unfortunately the teacher was blaming me to organize people to change the teacher, it’s not because she doesn’t teach good it’s because I’m a good organizer. It is obvious many people have really bad experiences at this school. You will understand when you read the comments.

Negativ oplevelse: I am taking Danish classes in Studieskolen, but am very unhappy about it. I started in October 2022, and finished first two module successfully. But during the 3rd module, our teacher quit her jon-which we liked very much. Before she quit, they assigned a substitute teacher for 3 weeks, and afterwards she was completely gone and for that time they assigned another permanent teacher to our class. The problem is, second teacher definitely did not follow anything on the book. And we have module exam 4 weeks after the 3rd teacher came. So we practically lost at least 30% of the module, it wasn't covered afterwards. 3rd module already not easy, but these changes made it even worse. The biggest problem personally from my side is that when I gace feedback about this situation, their answer was simply, we cant know when our teachers are going to quit and thats why we could not be prepared for this. okay, this is not a good approach to a person who is receiving a service from you. I would appreciate at least if they would acknowledge that they made a lousy planning, and cost time of me and my classmates. So the worst part is the attitude :) I am changing my school after the 3rd module, and overall I am not satisfied with the language course.

Negativ oplevelse: I accidentally signed up to a course starting in January called A2 beginners, not realising that this is not a fully beginners’ class (I did not read the description for A2 and assumed that this is the same as A1, only group #2). The tutor was very nice and told me after 5 mins to drop and ask admin to offer other alternatives but none of those work: some are not online, and most are in working hours. So I asked if I could do the course from May instead when my schedule can accommodate. The answer was „no“ due to the terms and conditions but I was welcome to „stay“ in the course I picked, which is clearly way above my knowledge level and I already missed 4 classes of because of the time it takes to get responses. The course was over 300EUR and this school is pocketing all of that. I will ask my HR department not to recommend this school to expats and also told my husband to go elsewhere. I expected a bit more flexibility and find them a bit shortsighted: instead of having 2 customers who wanted to progress to B1, they now have zero.

Negativ oplevelse: DO NOT REGISTER WITH THIS SCHOOL! I proactively researched schools and chose this one based on recommendations. My experience was a disaster. I was told that I could start an online class in Aug or Sep and then when the time came, they had nothing to offer me. By then, my deposit was paid and other schools' classes had already started and I lost 6 weeks of time. In the meantime, they wrongly enrolled my in a hybrid class and then offered me a physical class when I told them explicitly that I could not do these. On top of it, they repeatedly told me I have nothing to worry about, I will definitely get a class. Now, I have been out of school all summer and don't know with whom and when I can start up my classes again. And in true Danish customer service, they basically said, "Sorry, we can't help". What a terribly run business - they should not be certified by the Komune.

Fantastisk oplevelse: The best Abs curriculum of danish in Copenhagen. One will learn all aspects of the language from pronunciation and reading from the first level.

Positiv oplevelse: Took two courses in Swedish at Studieskolen in 2021-2022. The level of engagement from the teacher's side was exceptional, though the course could have been a bit more structured. The classrooms felt a bit claustrophobic and the IT wasn't working as expected. Got a lot of unreadable text messages from Moodle and both of my courses were moved within the system before we were even done with them, making it more difficult to find the materials I needed. Certainly room for improvement.

Positiv oplevelse: Mediocre facilities, and classrooms can suffer from high temperatures as well as from loud noise from the street and from other classes (eg. music).

Negativ oplevelse: Terrible. Maltratan desde el inicio con una prueba totalmente subjetiva yo entre y mi hermana no; ella habla el danes mucho mejor que yo ahora. Contenido prefabricado y las pruebas subjetivas para que los estudiantes reprueben y así la escuela gane más dinero. No crean lo que la gente dice.

Negativ oplevelse: I am teacher, and this school is fatal in terms of methodology. It's just mediocre. They must improve. Fortunately I recognize when a curriculum is mediocre and I changed to other school just in time to learn properly Danish. I suggest to Studieskolen review its content and methodology. Also I have meet people who were rejected in an interview, this is not legal in Denmark. It seems racial discrimination.

Fantastisk oplevelse: My wife and I go to Studieskolen to study Danish. It's a good school of you are serious in learning a new language, especially Danish. The teachers are professional and knowledgeable.

Negativ oplevelse: Terrible exams for CBS students, several people from my class who got good grades at the spanish exam at CBS (7, 10 or 12s) received A1/A2 ratings from studieskolen despite being told by our teachers we were far above that level. I don't know what the issue is, but if you're a CBS student who needs a language test for exchange, look somwehere else and save yourself a very expensive mistake.

Positiv oplevelse: Before trusting the rating of a language school, I think it's important to consider the person doing the rating and if their needs align with yours. I've been learning Danish 3 different ways from beginner to intermediate: online apps, private tutor, at 2 different schools. I focused on intensive learning and am highly self motivated. I'm also fluent in English. Studieskolen is centrally located in Copenhagen. Its Danish classes are extremely and students come back. Most teachers have been teaching many years The prices are reasonable. Those are all good. For the lower levels, they rely heavily on the Danish to go series of books and online material. This over-reliance on one source is a weak point, IMHO. You go exactly as fast as the book material covers. Also the material is quite repetitive: focusing exclusively on work and adult life conversations. A good school should of course review the basics, but studieskolen needs to provide other material: song lyrics, short stories, group presentations, to be a 5 star establishment.

Fantastisk oplevelse: Great language school. I am currently in Module 2 of Danish and have learned a lot over the past couple of months. The teacher is very helpful and has really helped with pronunciation. I would highly recommend this language school if you are looking to learn Danish in Copenhagen. The school offers other languages as well, which I think is awesome! The school also offers a cafe with sandwiches and beverages that are delicious and at a reasonable price.

Det viste sig, alle på holdet kunne spansk. De skulle bare lige have deres spansk genopfrisket. Jeg blev taget af holdet og ind på et andet hold. Det var nøjagtig det samme, alle kunne spansk, undtagen mig. For mig er et begynderhold for os, der ikke kan noget som helst spansk. Det er åbenbart ikke Studieskolens opfattelse. Det fortæller mig at Studieskolen er total ligeglad med eleven, bare de får penge. Jeg er ikke tvivl, jeg deltager aldrig på et kursus på sprogskolen. Hilsen Dan E.

Fantastisk oplevelse: Excellent experience I think it is good that all students need to speak at least one foreign language plus English. The learning speed is high (I have 2 x 2,5 hours per week, but there are courses with 3xper week as well, or only 1x3,5 hours) and you have to do quite some homework (up to 5-6 hours per week). This homework can mostly be done in the internet with pronouncing and grammer exercises, which makes learning fun for me. I think that is really a great system they are offering.

Positiv oplevelse: In short: Well organised and equipped educational institution. Studioskolen organises multiple events year long to foster relationships between students in different classes. They seem to have a decent canteen (unless you prefer your greens & grains and shy away from dairy, meats), mini-library and a beautiful roof-terrace with splendid views of Copenhagen. If your lucky and it's a clear day you can even see Sweden in the distance. Staff is helpful and competent both in person and remotely (e-mail/phone). Although as we transitioned into the summer courses the changes in the school (and the uncertainty, stress that accompanies) was palpable. Teaching quality is uniquely subjective. Your teachers, personal learning style, and discipline are key components but there is certainly something to be learned. Particularly if you put in the time and energy outside of 'class'! Fortunately, enjoyed learning Danish from from multiple well trained, patient and passionate teachers. Studied Danish for approximately 8 months. Relocated to Denmark just over a year ago. Would consider studying another language at this school in the future =). Thanks Studioskolen.

Fantastisk oplevelse: A great and well organized language school. I met a lot of foreigners of all kinds from all over the world. The admittance process is tough if learning a new language isn't your strongest side, but staff is helpful and teachers are excellent. I highly recommend the school.

Negativ oplevelse: My wife went to Studieskolen since she wanted to learn danish. Unfortunately, she got rejected because of bad pronunciation in Danish, the language she wanted to learn. I since complained to the school and "Københavns Kommune". The director of Studieskolen called us afterwards and offered os a new interview which we rejected. It wasn't a pleasent experience for my wife, being discriminated for her bad pronunciation, which of cause is related to her origin and the language she grew up under. Im sure the school is a good school, if you are one of the chosen ones. I do however think, that the method for choosing their students is a disgrace. Its not the best start for someone trying to integrate into the danish society, to be weighted to light from the beginning. Language learning and the integration process is all about confidence, Studieskolen isn't exactly helping. While universities in Denmark need a 3-year period to determine if someone can follow their program, Studieskolen needs a 10 min highly subjective interview. I want to tell everyone who is rejected by Studieskolen, that Studieskolen are NOT allowed to do so. You have the right to choose whichever school "Københavns Kommune" referred you to. The only thing that make Studieskolen special" is that they only offer "Dansk Uddannelse 3" so you need more than 12 years of education to be able to apply for that program. If Studieskolen has rejected you and you feel like it was a unjustified rejection, you should either demand a new interview and prove that you have more than 12 years of school or write a complain via e-boks to "Københavns Kommune - Dansk uddannelse" We did this, and was offered a new interview but since Karina didnt feel like being around these people, which i can understand, we rejected their offer to get a new change to join their special club. Københavns Kommune didn't want to take the case any further since we rejected their "generous" offer. In my honest opinion, i find Studieskolen methods a disgrace in a society like the danish and I sincerely hope more people will complain about this. Best regards.

Positiv oplevelse: Solid language school with many different language possibilities. Teaching material is fairly good and teachers seem to me theoretically well prepared. Still though, there is some heterogeneity in the teaching capabilities of the teaching staff (I had three different teachers). Overall teaching quality is 4/5. Teaching material 4/5. Teacher knowledge 5/5. Concerning Danish classes, opportunities to suit teaching time to one's own daily life is excellent 5/5. I really appreciated the grammar entry test before enrolling in one of the courses. It helps having classes made of quite prepared and capable students that can advance fairly successfully. Concerning the 1-star reviews I read about the school, they are not to be trusted as a measure of evaluation. Who is blaming the school for racism may have failed the entry test for example, and this is why he may have not allowed to enroll. I find it very hard to believe that he was prevented only due to his nationality. Also, concerning the pass rate, I can confirm pass rates of 50-70÷ in he very first levels, but this is due to the fact that is a solid language school that requires effort. Many of the welfare funded students just don't take it seriously and consequently they fail to pass the module. I am a PhD student in engineering and I am studying at Studieskolen as welfare funded Danish language student, in third level of Danish language course structure (Danish Education 3). My mother tongue is Italian but I also speak English to a C1 level of the CEFR.

Negativ oplevelse: The most racist institute I have ever seen. When I wanted to start learning Danish, first I went to this place and they rejected me because I was form iran ( they didn't say that directly but they used stupid excuses like I didn't have a good Danish pronunciation &...)

Fantastisk oplevelse: The most versatile language school in Copenhagen. A friend of mine studied here and it helped him for sure. I met other foreigners who also had good success in this school. Highly recommended.
